Avalon mall is located in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It is the largest shopping center in Newfoundland and Labrador over 500,000 square feet. The center includes a mix of retail, dining and entertainment options. The mall have 144 retailers stores, services, food chains and departmental store.
The major brands are Pandora, H&M, Sephora, Aldo, and Sport Chek. For sake of entertainment, the mall has Cineplex Cinemas, which includes 12 screens and a VIP lounge for the ultimate movie experience. Atlantic Lottery and Rec Room are also available for adult entertainment.
The Avalon mall also host events throughout the year such as Father Day, Christmas, and Easter celebrations. During these events, there are fun activities for families to participate in, as well as special sales and promotions from retailers.

Avalon mall is open seven days a week, but during the holiday season, the hours may vary. The mall will be close on many major holidays, including Christmas Day, Easter, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, and New Year’s Day. The mall will also have reduced hours on holidays such as Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, Good Friday, and Victoria Day.
During the month of December, the Avalon Mall tends to have extended shopping hours to accommodate for holiday shoppers. This includes staying open later into the evening and opening earlier in the morning.
Labour Day
Labour Day is a national holiday that falls on the first Monday of September and celebrates the achievements and contributions of workers. In 1st September, the Avalon Mall might be close for the day to observe this holiday. However, it is recommended to check with individual stores as some may choose to remain open.
Thanksgiving
The Thanksgiving holiday is celebrated on the second Monday of October in Canada. And 13 October is the date when Avalon Mall will be closed.
Remembrance Day
